Dr. Noor Al Kuraishi ND
I mainly work with: gut health, autoimmune conditions, mood and mental health, chronic pain, skin concerns, and pediatric care.
If your concern falls outside of these areas, please book with Dr. Veronique Theriault, ND or schedule a discovery call so we can guide you to the right practitioner.
My path into medicine was not a conventional one. I was initially preparing for law school in Ottawa when my health began to decline. I was diagnosed with severe Crohn’s disease and spent extended periods in hospital undergoing treatment and recovering from surgeries.
Years later, I worked with a naturopathic doctor who played a pivotal role in my recovery. I have been in remission since. That experience reshaped my direction and led me to pursue naturopathic medicine so I could support others facing complex, often overlooked health challenges.
Living with a chronic illness has given me a level of clinical insight that extends beyond textbooks. I understand the frustration of persistent symptoms, the uncertainty, and the impact it has on daily life.
My approach is focused, structured, and individualized. I prioritize identifying key drivers of your symptoms and creating a clear, actionable plan so you can begin to notice meaningful changes early on, while also building toward long-term, sustainable health. Patients often appreciate having a clear plan and knowing exactly what steps to take next.
I graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and have continued advanced training in nutrition, injectable vitamin therapy, digestive health, autoimmunity, and pain management.
In addition to clinical practice, I am a former part-time faculty member at the École d’Enseignement Supérieur de Naturopathie du Québec in Montreal, where I taught basic sciences, autoimmune conditions, emergency medicine, nutrition, and clinical practice. I have also served as co-chair of the membership committee for the Gastroenterology Association for Naturopathic Physicians.
I offer care in English, French, and Arabic.

Welcome! I’m Rebecca, a Registered Psychotherapist - Qualifying, with a deep passion for mental wellness and over 12 years of experience in the mental health field.
My journey has included a variety of roles, from volunteering in mental health initiatives to supporting individuals in community settings, and now in private practice. My own experiences have given me a deep understanding of the courage it takes to seek help, and I bring that empathy and insight to each session.

Sarah-Jane McDougall RDH & Oral Myofunctional Therapist
As a registered dental hygienist I was seeing many patients in my chair with symptoms of oral dysfunction and knew I wanted to play a role in the bigger picture of their overall health.
I graduated from Algonquin College in 2011 and have been practicing in traditional dental hygiene roles both in dentist owned practice and as an Independent Dental Hygienist. I have always been interested in learning more about the aspects of dentistry I don’t get to focus on doing preventative and periodontal care, so I took the opportunity while I was on maternity leave to further my education and study Oral Myofunctional Therapy.
I am passionate about finding the root cause of symptoms and treating my clients with a whole body approach. Oral function is quality of life and I want to help you achieve the best quality of life in a team approach, working hand in hand with the support team you can access here at Epione Health.

My experience with chiropractic began in the womb – as my mother sought chiropractic care during her pregnancy to ease her pregnancy related low back pain and facilitate her birth, after two difficult ones prior.
I was raised in Cornwall Ontario, where I played competitive soccer and danced with the MacCulloch dancers. I have always been fascinated by the human body and decided to learn more about it by attending McGill University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. While in Montreal, I experienced neck pain related to studying and sought chiropractic treatment, which piqued my interest and appreciation for chiropractic care once again. As a result, I continued my post-secondary education by attending the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and obtained my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. While attending CMCC, I also achieved my Functional Integrated Acupuncture certification.
I have a passion for helping others and look forward to providing my patients with personalized holistic care that treats any of the musculoskeletal discomforts you may be experiencing. At Epione health, we believe in the power of education and empowerment, giving you the confidence and knowledge to make informed health decisions. Together, we will create a treatment plan personalized for you based on your presentation and needs using the various techniques: • Spinal Manipulation Therapy • Extremity Manipulation Therapy • Joint Mobilizations • Acupuncture • Soft Tissue Therapy • Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy • Exercise • Education
Outside of the clinic you can find me cooking, baking, spending time with family, at the gym or staying active outdoors while soaking up vitamin D!

Dr. Veronique Theriault ND
I work mainly with: Thyroid conditions, women’s health, fertility, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), weight loss and metabolic health, and pediatric care including autism and ADHD.
If this is not your current concern, please consult with Dr. Noor Al Kuraishi, ND or book a Discovery Call to ensure you are matched with the most appropriate provider.
I’m a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with a focus on hormones, metabolism, and helping women feel like themselves again.
My path into this work was personal. For years, I struggled with my weight, low energy, and ongoing gut issues. Over time, it escalated into cystic acne, chronic migraines, SIBO, fatigue, and Hashimoto’s. I saw doctors, ran tests, and kept being told things were “fine” or unclear, yet I felt anything but fine.
At the time, I truly believed this was just my normal.
It wasn’t until I started feeling better that I realized how much I had been pushing through and how far from optimal I actually was.
That experience changed everything. I took my health into my own hands and became deeply invested in understanding what was really going on. Through years of research, education, and applying the right strategies, I was able to bring my symptoms into remission and maintain over 45 pounds of weight loss for more than a decade.
Now, this is exactly how I approach patient care.
I know what it feels like to be frustrated, dismissed, and stuck. I also know what it takes to actually turn things around. My role is to connect the dots, simplify the process, and give you a clear, realistic plan that works in your life.
I commonly work with women dealing with thyroid issues, hormone imbalances, perimenopause and menopause, fertility concerns, weight loss resistance, and metabolic health challenges. My approach focuses on identifying what’s driving your symptoms and addressing it directly, rather than layering on temporary fixes.
I also care deeply about longevity and health optimization, not just feeling better now, but staying well long term. This means supporting your hormones, metabolism, and overall resilience so your health continues to work for you as you age.
My approach is practical and results driven. I do not believe in overcomplicating your routine or asking you to do things that are not sustainable. Instead, we focus on the key changes that will move the needle and get you results you can feel.
If you feel like you have been doing everything right but still are not seeing progress, or you have been told your labs are “normal” but you do not feel like yourself, there is usually more to uncover.
And more importantly, there is a strategy that actually works, so you can finally get answers, see real results, and feel like yourself again
